Roasted Cattle Weaner Flakes: Beef Cattle producers are encouraged to wean their stock at a stage, which is beneficial to both the mother and the young calf. In a normal season this time may be at about 6 months of age. In drought seasons this may be as early as 12 weeks of age. Dairy cattle calves may be changed from our calf museli to weaner flakes preferably at five months but as early as three months of age.
