Feeding Guidelines

  • THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE FEED AND MUST BE FED AS PART OF A BALANCED RATION
  • Feed in conjunction with a vitamin and mineral supplement applicable to the species being fed
  • For ruminants and horses always feed in conjunction with an adequate volume of effective fibre from forages such as pasture, hay, and chaff.
  • Micronised barley must be introduced slowly over a period of 14 days.
  • The feeding rate will be determined by the species being fed, their condition and production requirements.
  • Horses – up to 1 % of body weight plus forage
  • Cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, and deer – up to 1 % of body weight plus forage
  • Pigs feed ad lib without restriction
  • Ensure animals always have access to fresh, clean water

 

Storage Instructions

  • Store Micronised Barley under cover, away from vermin, in a cool, dry place, below 30ºC and protected from exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Best Before – 3 months from date of manufacture.
  • Bags are not waterproof.
